Vampire Knight Episode 2 -
Vampire Knight Episode 2 begins with Zero in the bathroom, with the water running and seemingly throwing up in the sink, and in the meanwhile the vampires are off doing their thing in the night class.
Yuki is seen in class looking at a recipe on how to make them, even though she says she isn't interested. The other girls are all very excited to be allowed to give the Night Class chocolates.
After class, Zero and Yuki go to visit the Chairman and he starts to talk about Vampires a bit and he asks if Zero hates them because they are beasts and that the event and holiday is a must because vampires are beautiful and deserve it, but also because he wants people to have fun. This is stuff this purposely pisses off Zero and Yuki tries to break the tension by giving the Chairman, her Daddy, an early chocolate, which absolutely does break the tension and makes him burst in an outpouring of happiness. She also gives one to Zero, as she always does, she says and he says it's no different than each year, to which she insulted. As her father is back there freaking out, the two of them leave his office and get ready for the Night Class to come out.
While the two of them walk down the hall Yuki wonders why the Chairman says things that he knows will terribly upset Zero and remembers the first time she met Zero again. The Chairman brought him home and said his family had been killed by a bad vampire and to take him inside and let him use the bath, he had to go deal with the police right now. Yuki asks Zero if she can touch him, but he does not respond and she leads him gently inside and to the bathroom. There she removes his cloak and his whole neck and shoulder are drenched in blood. She is surprised, but she carefully cleans it off anyway, commenting that she was happy it wasn't a wound.
In the Night Class building, the vampires are listening to the girls outside and a few of them are excited they are so happy, while others are bored. Ruka is very happy to see Kaname and then they move out.
Yuki is once again seen holding off the girls who love the Night Class, but this time they have Chocolates, but Yuki tells them they can't give them out beforehand. One cute girl with glasses tries to climb the wall, but ends up falling, but luckily for her, Zero catches her. When the Night Class comes out, Kaname tells Yuki to be careful and not get hurt and then asks Zero how he is doing and then says he should take care and Zero tells him he will show him how he is doing and he will be his opponent anytime. The other vampires are annoyed at his attitude, but Kaname doesn't care.
Yuki is seen later on attempting to make her own chocolate, but she is not doing a good job. Zero is watching her for a bit, but then he starts to freak out again in pain and goes upstairs, only to collapse against the wall. Chairman Cross gives him a tablet and tells him to take it, it will make him feel better, but Zero just hits it out of his hand. The Chairman also mentions that the episodes have been happening more and more recently and things won't stay the same, but Zero already knows that.
Yuki is tired the next day in class, which is Chocolate Day, which is basically Valentine's Day, and she failed to make her handmade chocolate and had to get it from a store in the end. Zero says he heard her all night and she yells at him, which kind of upsets him, but the other male students, who were upset because they thought they would get no chocolate, due to the popularity of the male students of the Night Class, but they had some hope in Zero becaues he was so smart and cool, but this only pisses Zero off more.
When the time finally comes for the female students and few male students to give the Night Class their chocolate, most of them receive a lot and Aidou is more than eager to get out there and be with all the girls, asking one of them their bloodtype, but Yuki yells at him. Shiki, the beautiful model and Kaname's cousin, is bored by the whole thing, as is the other female model vampire. Ruka doesn't seem to care very much, but she does receive a chocolate from the head of the class and Kain receives a whole ton for being sexy. Kaname also receives a good amount, but once his hands are full he can accept no more. Yuki does not get a chance to give him hers and ends up being trampled by the other female students and her chocolate falls from her pocket. Before she gets a chance to do anything, Zero picks it up and tosses it to Kaname, who says he will take that one and thanks Yuki for it. As he walks off she says it was no problem and then turns and punches Zero for giving it to him, but he says that he was annoyed she didn't give it to him. She says she wanted to but he was too different and Zero asks what she means and she starts to explain, but he sees the back of her neck and has to walk away, from the scene. Yuki continues on about how Kaname saved her life and it was the beginning of her world, but it must not have meant much to him.
But in the meanwhile Kaname is off with Seiren, who asks if the all the chocolates are a bother and if he wants her to hold them for him. He says sure and gives her all but one and keeps Yuki's, saying it's the only one he wants and rubbing it to his lips, while walking along in a daze - so obviously it meant something.
Yuki turns around only to see Zero is gone, which is not surprising since he vanishes a lot. She goes off to patrol. In the meanwhile, Zero is at his stable with his horse, in pain, doubled over in the entry, when the cute girl with glasses that he caught earlier comes up with chocolate. She says she wanted to thank him for catching her, so she got him a chocolate, but he screams at her to get away and she runs away.
As night falls, Yuki is patrolling, unable to find Zero and inside the building, Kaname asks where Aidou and the other vampires are, but Ichijou, who is reading the letters from the girls, says he does not know.
Outside, Zero is stumbling around holding his head when he is approached by a group of vampires, lead by Aidou. He pulls his vampire gun on them and Aidou and Ruka comment that his attitude towards Kaname is unnacceptable. Shiki says that they shouldn't do anything and Kain says Zero should put his weapon away, but Zero bodyslams him, much to his surprise. He then says he's annoyed at the moment and he will fight them if they want. This angers Aidou, who turns the ground to ice, which matches his eyes and Kain says he was going to stop it, but now he doesn't care what happens, summoning some fire behind him.
But before things can go any further, Yuki jumps in and from this, all the vampires don't want to fight anymore and leaves. She asks Zero what he was doing, but looks at her neck again and tells her to leave hi m alone, before wandering off. Back in his room he is trying to wash his face again and take the pill, but he can't and collapses on the wall. Yuki comes looking for him and finds him the bathroom and helps him dry off and helps him with his shirt. She then gives him a chocolate, saying it was the only one she successfully made herself. He eats it, but I guess the chocolate tasted bad, because then he makes a really annoyed face, but as she turns around he is staring at her neck as she turns around, and her eyes and lips and reaches out and grabs her shoulder, but ends up leaving the room again and telling her to leave him alone, which leaves her upset and by herself.
She finds a pill on the floor but doesn't know what it is. Back in the Dorms, Kaname is punishing the vampires, but he says that Zero can't help his attitude because after that night four years ago, his life changed forever and yet again, Zero is seen suffering in his room, trying to drink the tablet, but instead vomiting and dropping it on the floor.
